2009 Mustang Brochure on eBay

StangPlanet post from “Roush427R”:

Thanks to MustangBlog for the heads up– looks like someone got a hold of the brochure before dealers could! Interesting that it’s only up for 20 bucks…If I were a little crazier I would’ve paid a good 40 bucks for this kinda thing.

The booklet includes photos of the GT500, GT500KR, Bullitt, California Special, WIP edition, GT and V6 models, as well as the glass roof option that’s on its way. Looks good.

Ford to limit Bullitt Mustang production to 7,700 vehicles

Limited edition releases are a bittersweet commodity—on one hand, they’re generally loaded with perks that cause consumers to drool, but on the other hand, they’re limited. Ford MoCo recently responded to the overwhelming demand for 2009 GT500KR Mustangs by boosting their production numbers.

Rumors have been circulating that the company would do the same for this year’s Bullitt, another popular limited edition Stang. Unfortunately for the McQueenites who missed the boat on the 2008 Ford Mustang Bullitt, the company has decided not to boost the production run of the retro remakes, keeping the figure set at 7,700 vehicles.

Still, this is a relief for those who have gotten their orders in, as the Bullitt’s value will not drop as a result of any production boost.

5,600 of the cars will be produced this year and 2,100 will be produced for the vehicle’s 2009 return. Ford has confirmed that the vehicles will continue to be numbered sequentially and will not start over with the ’09 model.
